Communion: The Lords Supper - Christ instituted the Lord's Supper in order for us to remember the great sacrifice He made for us and that we rely on Him and His sacrifice for our salvation. He gave us this memorial so we would not forget Him and what He did for us. In Luke 22:19, when Jesus instituted the Lord’s Supper, He said, “Do this in remembrance of Me.” This is done to help us remember the Lord and what He did for us.

Baptism - Baptism is an important part of being a Christians. Baptism was a part of the Hebrew culture before the baptism of Christ. John the Baptist baptized for the remission of sin. Today, baptism illustrates, in dramatic style, the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. At the same time, it also illustrates our death to sin and new life in Christ. As the sinner confesses the Lord Jesus, he dies to sin (Romans 6:11) and is raised to a brand-new life (Colossians 2:12). Being submerged in the water represents death to sin, and emerging from the water represents the cleansed, holy life that follows salvation.  Romans 6:4 puts it like this: “We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”

** Because of the preparation involved in being baptized an appointment is required.  Most baptisms are usually scheduled within two to three days.

Hospital and Home Visitation (sick or dying)  - If you have a sick or dying loved one schedule an appoint with our care staff. What does a care visit intel? First, at the time you schedule your appointment with our care pastor you will be asked a few questions. This is to fill our care staff in on the details of the need. It is at that time before the scheduled visit our care team will begin praying for that immediate need.  During the visit the care team will ask you to discuss your prayer needs. The care team will share some relevant encouraging scriptures with you. Have a brief devotional, closing with prayer. Visitation should last 10 to 15 minutes.

Dedications: Child/Infants/Home/ Business - If you are not part of a community of faith in which to commemorate the birth of your child, or celebrate the purchase of your new home or business, the Pastoral Care Center can help create and conduct a special ceremony that reflect these major milestones.
